Conformity And It’s Dangers

We humans are social beings, our need to relate and interact with our peers is as innately embedded within us as our desires for sustenance. This innate need to relate has helped us survive for over 150,000 years and has moulded our idea of a ‘society’ into what it is today. Within us all exists a fear of loneliness, as much as one tries to shun it, it exists. Conformity in my view is a bypass to this fear, as it allows one to relate to large amount of people at once, be it a group, or to a trend.
